Crack in Rivers PDP deepens

PORT HAR-COURT— After the screening of
People’s Democratic Party, PDP, governorship
aspirants in the South-South, there have been
accusations and counter-accusations, while the
12 disqualified aspirants have threatened to
appeal the result of the just concluded screening
exercise.
Prince Tonye Princewill, Nimi Walson Jack,
Bekinbo Dagogo-Jack, Dumo Lulu-Briggs, Prof.
Dom Baridom, Major Lancelot Ayanya, Gabriel
Pidomson, Oseleye Dennis-Ojuka, Tamunosisi.
Gogo-Jaja, Sampson Ngerebara, Mrs.
Abietedogho Bob-Hart and Henry Odien
Ajumogobia were disqualified.
Meanwhile, Pawariso Samuel Horsfall, Capt.
Sunday Nwankwo, Nyesom Wike, Bernard MIkko
and Ibinabo Michael-West scaled through to take
part in the PDP primaries.
